Product Overview
What is the HD-105A?

The HD-105A Holiday Detector is an intelligent pulsed high voltage protective coating quality detector. It features an anti-interference intelligent chip, anti-interference LED screen, and a brand new digital control circuit that ensures accurate high voltage output of ±(0.1KV+3% reading). The device automatically adjusts voltage values according to protective coating thickness and uses lithium battery power for field applications.

Operating Principle

When the high voltage probe passes over non-conductive coating, if the coating is too thin or the metal substrate has leaks or pinholes, the air gap is punctured and produces spark discharge during pulse high voltage application. Simultaneously, the detector records the leak count.

The HD-105A features advanced design with stable and reliable performance, making it suitable for widespread use in chemical industry, oil, rubber, and enamel applications. It is an essential tool for detecting metal anti-corrosion coating quality.
